Fundación Mapfre: Finalistas de los Premios a la Innovación Social
Fueron seleccionados diversos proyectos con impacto social para participar en la final de la sexta edición de los Premios a la Innovación Social. Se trata de una iniciativa que promueve Fundación Mapfre en colaboración con IE University.
El objetivo de estos galardones, cuya dotación total es de 120 mil euros, es encontrar soluciones enfocadas en mejorar la movilidad y la seguridad, promover la salud y fomentar conductas saludables e impulsar iniciativas que fomenten el envejecimiento activo, es decir que permitan mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas de entre 55 y 75 años.
En esta edición se presentaron un total de 347 proyectos, lo que representa un 70% más de participación con respecto a la edición anterior. De estos, se seleccionaron doce finalistas, procedentes de países como España, Alemania, Brasil, Chile, Guatemala y Estados Unidos. Competirán el próximo 24 de mayo en Madrid, cuando se elegirán tres ganadores.
Los proyectos brasileños seleccionados son:
– Altrum. Es un desarrollador de prótesis craneales con impresoras 3D destinadas a pacientes oncológicos y con traumatismos que permiten reducir hasta diez veces el tiempo de espera y el coste de una cirugía y mejoran la calidad de vida de los enfermos.
– Seebot. Se trata de un semáforo inteligente que guía a personas con discapacidad visual, ofreciéndoles seguridad e independencia en los entornos urbanos.
– Talento Sênior. Representa un ecosistema laboral que pone en contacto a personas mayores de 55 años con empresas emergentes para ofrecerles una oportunidad laboral que se adapte a sus necesidades y que aproveche su talento.

Fundación Mapfre: the Finalists for the Social Innovation Awards
Various projects with a social impact were selected to participate in the final of the sixth edition of the Social Innovation Awards. This is an initiative promoted by Fundación Mapfre in collaboration with IE University. Awards.
The objective of these awards, whose total endowment is 120 thousand euros, is to find solutions focused on improving mobility and safety, promoting health and encouraging healthy behaviors and promoting initiatives that promote active ageing, that is, that allow improving the quality of life of people between 55 and 75 years.
In this edition, a total of 347 projects were presented, which represents 70% more participation than in the previous edition. Of these, twelve finalists were selected, from countries such as Spain, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala and the United States. They will compete on May 24 in Madrid, when three winners will be chosen.
The selected Brazilian projects are:
– Altrum. It is a developer of cranial prostheses with 3D printers for cancer and trauma patients that allow waiting time and the cost of surgery to be reduced by up to ten times and improve the quality of life of patients.
–Seebot. It is an intelligent traffic light that guides people with visual disabilities, offering them safety and independence in urban environments.
– Senior Talent. It represents a labor ecosystem that connects people over the age of 55 with emerging companies to offer them a job opportunity that suits their needs and that takes advantage of their talent.
