Acrisure se expande a Brasil a través de la adquisición de It’sSeg
El corredor de seguros y proveedor de servicios fintech Acrisure ha anunciado planes para adquirir It’sSeg, la mayor firma independiente de administración de beneficios y corretaje de seguros de Brasil. El acuerdo marca la entrada de Acrisure en el mercado brasileño y representa una expansión sustancial de sus operaciones latinoamericanas. Fundada en 2014 por Thomaz Menezes y la firma de capital privado Actis, It’sSeg tiene más de R$ 2.500 millones de primas y cuenta con más de 1.000 clientes corporativos en su cartera.
"Brasil ofrece inmensas oportunidades y es un mercado en el que nos hemos centrado durante mucho tiempo", dijo Greg Williams, cofundador, Director Ejecutivo y Presidente de Acrisure. “Con Thomaz y el equipo de It’sSeg, nos hemos asociado con personas excepcionales que han construido un negocio ejemplar en un corto período de tiempo. Estamos filosófica y fundamentalmente alineados, ya que tanto Acrisure como It’sSeg valoran las alianzas sólidas, las soluciones innovadoras y el enfoque en el cliente".
Después de la transacción, Menezes seguirá como Director Ejecutivo de It’sSeg y varios altos ejecutivos de la empresa también seguirán siendo accionistas. La transacción con Acrisure involucra a todas las empresas del grupo It’sSeg, que incluye el brazo de consultoría y corretaje Barela, así como los negocios de Gebram, Você Clube, B2P y Oktuz.
“La asociación con Acrisure abre un abanico de posibilidades para acelerar nuestro crecimiento en Brasil y América Latina”, dijo Menezes. "A través del enfoque innovador impulsado por la tecnología de Acrisure, podremos diversificar y ampliar la gama de productos que ofrecemos a nuestros clientes".
Se espera que la transacción se cierre dentro de los próximos tres meses, sujeto a la aprobación regulatoria.

Acrisure expands into Brazil via It’sSeg takeover
Insurance broker and fintech services provider Acrisure has announced plans to acquire It’sSeg, the largest independent benefit management and insurance broking firm in Brazil. The deal marks Acrisure’s entry into the Brazilian market and represents a substantial expansion of its Latin American operations. Founded in 2014 by Thomaz Menezes and the private equity firm Actis, It’sSeg has over R$2.5 billion of premiums and counts over 1,000 corporate clients within its portfolio.

Following the transaction, Menezes will remain as CEO of It’sSeg and several senior executives from the company will also remain shareholders. The transaction with Acrisure involves all companies within the It’sSeg group, which includes consultancy and brokerage arm Barela, as well as the Gebram, Você Clube, B2P and Oktuz businesses.
“Partnering with Acrisure opens a range of possibilities to accelerate our growth in Brazil and Latin America,” said Menezes. “Through Acrisure’s innovative tech-driven approach, we will be able to diversify and expand the range of products we offer our clients.”
The transaction is expected to close within the next three months, subject to regulatory approval.
